A group of burglars broke into Brad Pitt’s Los Angeles residence, ransacking the property while the actor attended a London premiere, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Hollywood actor Brad Pitt’s residence in Los Angeles was recently targeted by a group of burglars. The break-in occurred in Los Feliz late on Wednesday when three individuals entered the property through a front window and proceeded to “ransack the location,” as per the Los Angeles Police Department. Although law enforcement did not officially identify the homeowner as the acclaimed actor Brad Pitt, the address matched that of a property he acquired in 2023. Reports suggest that the suspects made off with stolen goods, although the specific items taken remain undisclosed. Fortunately, Pitt was not present during the incident, as stated by US media outlets. During the time of the burglary, Pitt was in the UK for the London premiere of his latest movie, F1, set for release on Friday. He was joined by fellow Hollywood luminaries Tom Cruise and Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time Formula One World Drivers’ Championship titleholder. The burglary took place around 22:30 local time on Wednesday, according to authorities. While the LAPD did not disclose the exact value of the stolen items, inquiries were made to the actor’s representatives by the BBC. Situated just beyond Griffith Park, known for the iconic Hollywood Sign, the spacious three-bedroom residence is shielded from public view by lush greenery and a substantial fence. This incident adds to a string of burglaries targeting celebrities in the city, including Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. Additionally, last month saw an individual arrested on charges of stalking and vandalism after allegedly crashing his vehicle into the gate of Pitt’s former wife Jennifer Aniston’s residence.
